「Behind / Beyond」

2021年乃大變之年，展覽命名為「Behind / Beyond」源於藝術家面對疫情煎熬超過一年半，各人困在香港面對疫情、經濟、政治，甚至乎價值觀與生活模式的轉變，藝術家以什麼方式來面對與處理？應該踏前一步還是退後？本計劃將集結資深藝術家與香港新晉藝術家，探討大家在藝術路上的Behind and Beyond。

2021 is a year of great change. The title of this exhibition "Behind / Beyond" was chosen because artists,
like everyone else, have suffered from the pandemic for more than a year and half, and almost everyone has been locked down in Hong Kong to face unprecedented changes in economics, politics, and even values and lifestyles.
In what ways do artists cope with these situations? Take a step forward or retreat? In this exhibition, we will be showing works of art from established artists as well as emerging artists in Hong Kong as dialogues
in respect of "Behind and Beyond" on the journey as an artist in Hong Kong.

序

作為 #artistsupportpledgehk之延伸，本會已於12個月前申請中央圖書館展覽廳位置，
並獲批予場地；是次活動期望為本地獨立藝術家提供舉辦大型實體展覽機會，
目標在於拓展藝術根據地，增加藝術接觸面，讓本土藝術滲透至各不同社區；同時增加從業者的交流與互動，進深對業界的認知及理解。

As an extension of #artistsupportpledgehk, the Association started applying for suitable exhibition venue for the 2021 exhibition more than 12 months ago. When our application for exhibition in the Central Library was approved, we first envision the opportunity for local independent artists to participate large-scale physical exhibition. The objectives are to increase exposure of artists, and allow local art to get in touch with different communities; and at the same time, facilitate the communication and interaction of practitioners, and deepen the knowledge and understanding of the profession.

參加辦法

1. 各參加者請將參展作品照片上戴於可存取之連結上，
如：存放於google drive或網站或社交媒體帖文連結，狀態必須設定為公開
Applicants please upload a photo of your artwork with an public link.
e.g. Google Drive, website, social media, etc.

2. 按Paypal交報名費按鈕並支付報名費，請務必記下交易編號以完成報名程序
Click the 'PayPal' button on the right for the application fee.
Copy the transaction ID for the following step.

3. 填寫Google Form遞交資料完成報名
Click 'Go to Form' button on the right to complete the application.

HK$200 (每件作品計算)

為了本會及藝術家們嘅長遠發展，本會期望舉辦高水平藝術展覽，故報名費將用於聘請專業藝術策展人以達致此目標。
To ensure the quality of the exhibition and career development of participating artists, the Application Fee will be used to compensate the work of professional curator.

參展費

HK$500 (參加作品於獲選後才需繳付)

是次展覽已獲康文處場地資助75%場租。另申請藝發局資助中，唯結果將於12月公布，如申請獲批，藝發局將贊助展覽場地、製作及宣傳費用。
This exhibition has grants LCSD 75% off rental, and is under assessment of HKADC funding, if approved, HKADC will cover venue rental, production and promotion costs.

作品甄選程序將於10月30日前完成，
